My daughter wanted to go for her birthday, paid £51.00 I was dissapointed with what is there, we had done it all in 1 hour which is sad, wanted to spend more time there, not many animals there, and gift shop expensive, paid £17 for plush toy and my daughter noticed it had a rip in the back and had to be sawn. Wouldn't return, my daughter had a nice time so that's all that matters but not good value.

Had a full day while on holiday.
Plenty of butterflies, birds, bug, reptiles and farm animals to see. We went round to look at them twice!
Two outdoor play areas, indoor soft play has separate areas for smaller children and bigger children. Two cafes.
We enjoyed meeting the reptiles and rabbits.

Was a nice little fun day out, originally felt, we would see everything very quickly as we saw the animals quite quickly, but actually after seeing the animals, a play in the park, lunch and then a play in the soft play, we had been there 4 hours, and we didn't realise.
My 4 Y.O daughter really enjoyed the play park, there is a good selection of animals to see. It's clear that they are passionate about recycling and the environment, but maybe felt they could have more bins around the site, as there was surprisingly a lot of rubbish outside and along the nature walk.

Good day out. However, it's quite small for the price. Can easily be done within an hour. No toilets in the soft play area, so having to put the kids' shoes back on and walking to another building isn't ideal... There were loads of dead butterflies, which was a shame. It's definitely gone downhill over the last few years!
The outdoor play area is amazing though.

We had a lovely day!
The butterfly house needs some renovations 👀 but other than that, a great day out. Kids and adults both enjoyed it!

This place is amazing, loads to see and do, the butterfly forest was beautiful, just please be careful when you come as the butterflies love to sit on the ground, also the bird section was amazing, keep an eye out for the 2 Kookaburras, we stayed with them for ages 😄
And listen out for the parrot with a Yorkshire accent 🤣

We spent a lovely day a Pili Palas with our 7 year old twins, lots to see and do, loads of informative talks on insects and venom with a chance to touch and hold a number or creatures and insects well worth a trip.

Amazing little zoo on the Isle of Anglesey. The extensive butterfly habitat used to be the highlight but now it has so much more to look at, including meerkats, reptiles, birds, farm animals and bugs. Regular talks are held in case you want to learn more about the animals, and there are certain animals you can feed (in farm area). Aside from animals, plenty of indoor/outdoor play areas for kids, nature trails (access is weather dependent) and top class accessibility thanks to most (if not all) of the center being level access and a changing places toilet.
Only things I would warn about is that it can get so busy during the summer holidays that the parking wardens will turn you away, so I would advise booking in advance if visiting in the summer. Also, some items in the shop can be a little expensive.
Overall it is definitely one of the attractions that has got better over the years, used to just be a morning or afternoon stop on a family day out in Anglesey but now there is enough there to last you a full day.

Pretty good to be quite honest. The 4YO loved it, 10yo was alright but I think he might be at the top end of the appreciating scale.
It's a maze of different things. Food was OK. Probably could do with explaining what's actually on some stuff better menu wise (ie mayo on the paninis or what ever that white creamy muck was on the chicken) but thats my fault for not asking, and no I didn't ask for a refund or something else because I ordered something which I didn't eat because I didn't like it, so thats on me, no minus marks for that.
Almost all of the animals were out and busy doing their thing, I liked watching the red squirrels bomb about in their pens. The out door play bits are decent too! Mind your littler kids on the bigger stuff ours slipped and headbutted the wood so parental supervision is required!
All in all a good couple of hours spent seeing animals and stuff from parts of the world I'll never afford to visit. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.

The last time I came here would have been over 25 years ago. Great to relive some memories and to see just how much it has grown since seeing it as a child. They have added a lot since my first visit. They have farm animals, meerkats, an adventure park for kids, birds, reptiles, insects and obviously butterflies. Great information on hand for most inhabitants and you can see all at your own pace.
